Advanced Group - 🔴 & ⚫️ Jumps

This coaching course is designed for kids who are already a bit sendy and have started jumping, but want to gain more control, confidence, and correct technique in the air.

The focus of the session is learning proper jumping technique, including body position, take-off control, and correct landing technique. Many kids start sending jumps but haven’t yet learnt how to land smoothly and safely—this course will help riders get more comfy in the air, improving overall stability and control.

By developing better technique, riders will become safer, smoother, and more confident, allowing them to progress to bigger jumps and higher speeds in a controlled way.

This is a coaching course, not just a shred day. Riders will be expected to:

• Listen to coaches

• Watch demonstrations

• Practice skills step-by-step

That said, sessions are still fun, encouraging, and progression-focused, with the goal of building confidence while keeping safety front and centre.

Who it’s for:

• Kids aged 8 years and up

• OR younger riders with advanced ability and prior confirmation from Gowaan

• Riders should already be jumping and comfortable on their bike

If needed, riders will be split into ability-based groups to ensure everyone gets the most out of the session.

Perfect for young riders ready to sharpen their skills, ride smarter, and send it with confidence 🚵💥

Riders will need:

• Working bike with 2 working brakes and gears
• Helmet and knee pads (optional extras: gloves, full face helmet, elbow pads, back protection)
• Water and snacks (in a bag they carry themselves or in pockets/bottle cage
